What Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard actually sell isn't pedagogy. It's administrative infrastructure. Enrollment management, completion tracking, credential certification, regulatory compliance, accreditation reporting.

What an LMS doesn't do — and never has — is teach. It organizes content. It verifies content was viewed. It administers multiple-choice tests. Real pedagogy — adapting to the learner's level, identifying knowledge gaps, rephrasing until a concept lands — remains entirely the responsibility of humans.
